Our story

“Do you know that feeling when you had to leave your dog behind, watching sadly as you headed out on your bike? Or that moment of fear when a handlebar basket wobbled in a turn and you worried about your safety?

For us, it all started with a simple wish – not to leave our companion at home when we set off for adventure on two wheels, and not to settle for compromises: unstable handlebar baskets, rear carriers where you can’t keep an eye on your furry friend, or heavy trailers in which a small companion can feel completely lost.

A year of fine-tuning to perfection

We didn’t settle for a “garage-built” solution. We worked intensely on developing Dogrider for nearly a year, in cooperation with a professional engineering design office. Every millimeter of the wire support was calculated to be extremely strong while still naturally absorbing bumps. We tested materials, refined the ergonomics, and took hundreds of turns—until we were confident we had created the safest seat on the market.

With Dogrider, we chose a different path—the path of honest engineering and European manufacturing.

This technology is costly to produce, but it’s the only one that truly protects your dog’s spine with every impact.

Honest work in the heart of Europe. We are not anonymous importers from Asia. Dogrider is made in the Czech Republic. That means fair wages for our craftsmen and certified materials built to last. And when you need a spare part, we keep it in stock—so you don’t wait weeks for it to travel halfway around the world.
